Introducing Burnickl Ingenieure

General technical planning from one source!

Our founder, Dr Peter Burnickl, opened his first engineering office in Velburg in 2011 and already had a vision for the future at that time. The result today can also be seen in our international orientation at a total of 7 locations in Velburg, Bamberg, Frankfurt, Munich, Passau, Wuerzburg and Valencia in Spain. He started his firm in teamwork with his wife Maria Burnickl and it has grown by now into a mid-sized firm with more than 100 employees.

Our experience is footed on more than 1,000 successfully completed national and international projects, where our dynamic team of young and experienced employees always forms the basis. As a medium-sized engineering office, we manage public and private clients besides well-known industrial corporations. Our comprehensive service portfolio covers all trades of general technical planning. Besides the traditional segments of HVAC/P, PLC and conveyance, we are ideally staffed for architectural lighting by our own architectural professionals. Networks & districts, as well as project management and energy consulting make our portfolio complete. We are leading in the field of BIM (Building Information Modelling) by virtue of collaborations with universities and research initiatives.

We manage customers in the segments: administration, education, health, residential, hotels, industry, commerce, traffic, special buildings, green building, and districts & infrastructure. Meanwhile our services always come from one source.

One team, one aim: Your success – this is our approach to composing customer-specific teams of experts composed of engineers, technicians, construction foremen (property supervisors), specialised planners and commercial staff. We always work with our eyes on the customer’s objective, keeping tabs on time, cost and quality for the maximum of security to our clients. In the close exchange within the project team and with our customers, we develop a viable technical solution. Based on this holistic coordination, we develop practicable technology concepts, which convince for their sustainability, comfort and permanent efficiency of the building. Whether highly innovative or low-tech with a focus on functionality and efficiency – we always find the best solution for our clients.

Our motto: So much technology...

True to our motto: “As much technology as necessary but as little as possible,” we develop innovative, flexible, sustainable, and energy-efficient technical solutions. Our claim in all of our projects is meeting the requirements regarding time and budget while assuring the maximum measure of quality at the same time. 

For example, anyone should be able to operate the monitor of a conference room, without help from a facility manager. The time settings of lighting and blinds control units should be adjustable solely by those who operate these systems, even without costly external facility services. These intuitive systems are by now easy to implement and a must for modern buildings.
